BROOKLYN - Bed-Stuy residents living in a low-income housing complex are making a plea for adequate heating in their homes.

According to the Decatur Street tenants, space heaters and ovens are their only source of warmth. They say using both has driven up their gas and electric bills, which is nearly impossible to afford on a fixed income.

Representatives from the building's management company say they're working on the heating issue.
