BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - Bed-Stuy tenants are filing a lawsuit against the New York City Housing Authority because of allegedly deplorable living conditions.

Tenants say rats and constant leaks make their apartments unsanitary. The lawsuit charges the NYCHA with neglecting their responsibilities as landlords.

The group's lawyer, Marty Needleman, says the next court date at Brooklyn Housing Court will be in March, at which time a judge will decide if the case can move forward.
