BROOKLYN - Bedford-Stuyvesant Collegiate Charter School students celebrated Pi Day today with an opportunity to throw a pie at their teacher's face.

The rules of the contest dictated that whichever student could recite the most digits of Pi would have the pie-throwing honors.

School employees say they also held the event to celebrate the school's high pass rate on the algebra regents exam.
