Bensonhurst parents object to move of Pre-K classes

BENSONHURST - Parents of students at P.S. 101 in Bensonhurst are incensed over a Department of Education (DOE) plan to shift Pre-K classes to a school 1 mile away.

The DOE sent out notice over the summer that the classes would now be held at P.S. 216, but parents say they were not given adequate time to respond.

Parents say they would be unable to take their children to a school so far away.
