Bensonhurst residents: 'D' line stands for debris

BENSONHURST - Bensonhurst residents say debris is falling from new tracks installed about a year ago at the 86th Street station.

Residents are complaining that pieces of metal big enough to damage cars have been falling from the 'D' line tracks.

MTA officials say no complaints have been received about falling debris at the station, but that they plan to check with the station's construction manager to see if residents have voiced concerns.
