Bensonhurst shopkeeper laid to rest

BENSONHURST - Police are still investigating the death of a Bensonhurst shopkeeper, as his family says goodbye at his funeral.

Isaac Kadre was found dead Thursday night at his 99-cent discount store on 86th Street between 20th Street and 19th Avenue.

The medical examiner says the death was a homicide. According to the report, Kadare was shot in the head and struck in the neck with a sharp object.

Police have not yet indicated if there was any motive for his death.
