BROOKLYN - Neighbors in Bergen Beach say that even though city agencies are aware that there is no drainage on Royce Street, the problem is getting worse.

They say that stagnant pools of water cover the ground in the neighborhood a week after it rains, blocking driveways and cracking sidewalks.

Residents also say they are concerned for their safety.

The Department of Transportation and the Department of Environmental Protection tell News 12 they are working to fix the issue but do not have a timeframe of when it will be resolved.
