BROOKLYN - Two Canarsie men are dedicated to reviving the public's interest in old-time seltzer.
Kenny and Alex Gomberg are behind the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys, a family owned business that has been bottling and delivering the bubbly classic straight to people's homes for more than 60 years.
The Gombergs' seltzer isn't the kind you find at the grocery store today. They say it not only is better quality seltzer, but also has a distinct look because in comes in antique, hand-blown bottles.
The average cost for delivery of a case of 10 26-ounce bottles is $35. The Seltzer Boys delivers to homes all over Brooklyn, as well as Manhattan and Queens, but hopes to expand to bars and restaurants too.
