BROOKLYN - An interactive sculpture designed by a DUMBO artist may be responsible for some newfound love in Times Square.

DUMBO designer Bryan Young, and his firm Young Projects, created a structure called the Matchmaker, which entices viewers to stand on their astrological sign and gaze through a periscope. The hope is to find true love on the other side of the structure staring back at you.

“We wanted to make something that would be more than a backdrop for photographs,” said Young. “Something that would draw the public in to the sculpture and actually create an experience."

The structure will be in Times Square until next month, when it can be found in DUMBO.
