Better Business Bureau warns about shady contractors

(09/21/10) BROOKLYN - The Better Business Bureau is warning Brooklyn residents tonight about shady businesses trying to turn a profit on cleaning up from last week?s tornado.

Officials from the BBB are warning residents to be weary of shoddy work. They say disaster cleanup is the perfect time for shady contractors to take advantage of unsuspecting home owners.

The bureau also suggests getting three bids for repair work, trying to always pay by credit card and to watch workers on the job.
