PROSPECT HEIGHTS - As more Brooklyn residents take to their bikes to get around, bike corrals are popping up across the borough so riders can park, but not without some controversy.

The corrals allow cyclists to park their bikes and are cared for by local businesses. One corral on Franklin Avenue in Prospect Heights is sponsored by Zelda’s Cafe, which is responsible for keeping it clean.

The corrals, however, take up one or two spots normally reserved for cars, leaving drivers inconvenienced by having fewer spaces to park.
