Bike enthusiasts descend on borough for Transportation Alternatives-organized Tour De Brooklyn

FORT GREENE - Bike enthusiasts from across the city took to the streets today for the 9th annual Tour De Brooklyn.

About 1,300 riders signed up to take part in the 21-mile bike route planned across the borough.

Transportation Alternatives organized the event to encourage people to consider methods of getting around other than their cars.
