BOROUGH PARK - Bitter cold temperatures blasted the borough Friday, just 10 days before the official start of winter.

The temperatures dipped into the mid- to upper-20s, but with the wind chill, it felt like it was in the single-digits. Residents bundled up to brave the weather. Some even said they are tired of the cold, even though winter hasn't started yet.

Experts recommend people stay indoors when it's this cold. However, they say if you must be outdoors, bundle up, cover extremities and dress in layers.
