BK academy to join Barbra Streisand at Barclays Center

COBBLE HILL - Some of Brooklyn's rising music stars will join Barbra Streisand on stage this week at the Barclays Center.

Members of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy were chosen to sing with Streisand, a Flatbush native, during performances Thursday and Saturday. The group consists of mostly teens and alumnus of the academy's Concert Chorus and Young Men's Ensemble.

The chorus didn't want to ruin the surprises in store, but told News 12 Brooklyn that they will join Streisand during her finale and possibly accompany her on a few other tunes as well. The group also joined Streisand at her Philadelphia show.
