WILLIAMSBURG - A Brooklyn band is bringing a whole new meaning to what people think of as movie soundtracks.

On Friday night, the Industries of the Blind played a few short films that only had dialogue with no soundtrack. As the movie played, the musicians hid behind the screen and played their music up close and personal.

The conductor says playing live music right behind the screen helps the audience feel more emotion and involvement with the film. The band spent months composing music to match the films perfectly so that the viewer could really feel the mood.
