BROOKLYN - Some Brooklyn College students are helping low and middle-income families prepare their taxes for free.

Brooklyn College students are offering the free service over the weekend at the school.

Each preparer is trained by the Internal Revenue Service and every tax return the students work on is reviewed by a supervisor.

After the deadline passes, the students plan on offering help to those filing late and on tax amendments on Fridays.
