BK couple accused in Rye Playland brawl plead not guilty

BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn couple among 15 people arrested in connection with a fight over Muslim head scarves at Rye Playland pleaded not guilty today. They face misdemeanor charges in connection to the fight. Police say the fight erupted after park officials said Muslim women were not allowed to wear their traditional head scarves on certain rides for safety reasons.
