BROOKLYN - Police say a Brooklyn couple could face several charges for causing the death of a 3-month-old boy.

Prosecutors say Domingo Salazar and his wife, Norma Mendez, severely beat and denied medical attention to 3-month-old Carlos Santillana in 2008, causing him to die.

The child was the son of Salazar and a teenage girl. Police say the couple admitted to bringing the teenage girl from Mexico and forcing her into prostitution.

Police say the couple also disposed of the boy?s body in a plastic tub of wet concrete.
