BK dentist pleads guilty to Medicaid fraud

A Brooklyn dentist has pleaded guilty to charges of Medicaid fraud. According to prosecutors, Lawrence Bruckner submitted hundreds of false claims out of Premier Dental

BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn dentist has pleaded guilty to charges of Medicaid fraud.

According to prosecutors, Lawrence Bruckner submitted hundreds of false claims out of Premier Dental in Bushwick and failed to pay certain taxes. Bruckner also admitted that he paid recruiters to solicit homeless Medicaid patients with cash.

The 62-year-old is expected to pay nearly $700,000 in restitution and faces jail time. His sentencing his scheduled for November.
