BROOKLYN - With gas prices on the rise, many Brooklyn drivers are shopping around for the lowest prices.

Drivers are finding that gas prices change significantly in different neighborhoods. On Flatbush Avenue, the prices range from $4.05 to $4.29 for a gallon of regular gas.

AAA says the wide price discrepancies are common among stations when prices get high.

Many drivers are mapping out their routes based on gas prices. Some do research online before filling up their tanks.
