BROOKLYN - Several Brooklyn community leaders are outraged over a Brooklyn judge being nominated to the state's highest court.Governor Spitzer (D-NY) nominated Justice Theodore Jones for the State Court of Appeals last week. City Councilman Charles Barron (D-Brooklyn) said the move was a bad idea and called Jones a "union buster." It was Jones who decided to send Transit Union leader Roger Toussaint to jail and fined transit workers for the strike in 2005.The governor says adding Jones to the Republican-dominated panel will create diversity.
