BK man gets 40 years to life in Sheepshead Bay murders

BROOKLYN - A man who pleaded guilty to a brutal murder in Sheepshead Bay was sentenced today to 40 years to life in prison.

Amahal Lynch was convicted of choking Shakeema Elliot and her daughter, Kaliya Williams, back in 2010.

Lynch was a custodian for the New York City Housing Authority at the time of the murders.
