BK memorial wall to honor 9/11 illness victims

A memorial wall honoring dozens of firefighters who died from illnesses related to their work at Ground Zero is being unveiled tonight in Downtown Brooklyn.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN - A memorial wall honoring dozens of firefighters who died from illnesses related to their work at Ground Zero is being unveiled tonight in Downtown Brooklyn.

Friends and family say they've been anticipating the creation of a memorial in honor of those heroes and are glad to see the day finally arrive.

The FDNY is honoring 55 firefighters with the memorial wall.
