A Brooklyn nursing student is being hailed a hero toady after acing a crash course in delivering a baby in Flatbush yesterday. Long Island University

BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn nursing student is being hailed a hero toady after acing a crash course in delivering a baby in Flatbush yesterday.

Long Island University student Aionga Pereira stepped up during a frantic scene on Flatbush Avenue and helped deliver the newborn from the inside of a car.

Paramedics rushed the mother and baby girl to Methodist Hospital and both are doing well.
