BROOKLYN - City officials are urging Brooklyn residents to prepare for the upcoming storm by putting together a "go" bag that includes water, a first aid kit, flashlight and any important medication you or your family may need.

Residents can also visit our website or call 311 to see if you live in Zone "A" or low-lying areas.

Zone "A" includes Coney Island, Red Hook, Brooklyn Navy Yard and parts of Greenpoint. Residents in those areas have not been required to evacuate yet. Crisis Map
