The medical workers are headed south to help grant a terminally ill boy's Christmas wish.

BROOKLYN - EMTs and paramedics from Brooklyn are traveling to Virginia to help grant a wish.
 
Nathan Norman is a 6-year-old terminally ill boy who wanted NYPD and FDNY gear for Christmas.
 
The medical workers are filling up vans with gear and presents for the boy in the hope that the items will fulfill Norman's Christmas
