BROOKLYN - Parents, teachers and lawmakers are protesting at City Hall today against PCB levels inside the city's public schools.

Residents say they're protesting the city's 10-year plan to rid public schools of lead and cancer causing PCBs.

Federal inspectors say they found the toxic chemicals in several Brooklyn schools last month.

Lawmakers say they are proposing a bill that would establish a three-year timeline for all lighting fixtures leaking PCBs in Brooklyn schools to be replaced.

Despite that the city says it will re-examine the plan in 2014, supporters of the bill say the city isn't moving fast enough.
