BROOKLYN - Brooklyn parents are voicing their concerns as a school bus driver strike looms over the city. The bus drivers' union, Local 1181, is calling for an employee protection provision in their new contract that will guarantee workers' seniority rights. However, some parents say their children should not become involved with labor negotiations. Department of Education officials say they will try to block the strike in federal court. In the meantime, students will receive MetroCards and parents will receive reimbursements for all necessary taxi rides. Local leaders say the strike may start as soon as Monday. For video of Mayor Bloomberg's speech on the potential bus strike, select iO Extra on Channel 612.Education Dept. offer transportation options as bus strike looms
