BK photojournalist killed in Libya remembered

BROOKLYN - Colleagues of one of the two Brooklyn-based photojournalists killed in Libya yesterday are remembering him for the powerful images he's captured.

Oscar-nominated Tim Hetherington died after being struck by a rocket-propelled grenade while documenting the war-torn city of Misrata. Publisher Nan Richardson says she worked on Hetherington's book and remembers him with great admiration and respect.

Richardson says she plans to speak with some of Hetherington's collaborators to find the best way to honor his legacy.

Also killed in the attack was Chris Hondros, who worked for Getty Images.
