BK primary voters experience trouble at the polls

BROOKLYN - Redistricted voters say they weren't notified about new polling locations ahead of yesterday's primary elections.

With redistricting in the borough, polling places were changed for many voters. Some say that while they were notified of the rezoning, they were never told by the Board of Elections where new polling locations would be.

Viewers also reached out to News 12 Brooklyn on Facebook about issues they faced with voting, with one user saying she found the doors to her polling place locked at 6 p.m. when polls closed at 9.

A spokeswoman for the Board of Elections says the city sent notices to all registered voters informing them of new polling locations.
