BROOKLYN - The Chinese community celebrated the Lunar New Year in the borough today with a parade through Sunset Park.

Thousands of people gathered along 8th Street to watch the parade that is Brooklyn's largest Lunar New Year celebration. It has taken place in Sunset Park for the past 26 years.

The latest census found that more Chinese people reside in Sunset Park than in Chinatown in Manhattan.
