SHEEPSHEAD BAY - Residents are divided over a plan to build a mosque in Sheepshead Bay.

At a ?peace walk? designed to bring people of all religions together tonight, residents say the debate over the construction of a mosque became heated.

Many of those opposed say the mosque would disrupt the peace because of the call to prayer five times a day. Neighbors also worry the mosque would bring additional traffic and parking problems to the area.

Muslim members of the community say the opposition is rooted in religious intolerance.
