BK residents head to the pumps as gas prices fall nationwide

BROOKLYN - Residents say they have been taking notice of the falling gas prices across New York City.

The nationwide average today is $3.48 for a gallon of gas. In New York City, the average is $3.90, however, some Brooklyn residents say they've been able to find some cheap deals.

Employees at the Emporium Gas Station in Dyker Heights say business has been booming since they lowered their price for regular gas down to $3.69 yesterday.

Drivers say they're happy since they were paying around $4 at the same station last week.
