BK residents hope for good vibes in 2012

BROOKLYN - With the new year officially under way, some Brooklyn residents say they are anticipating good luck in 2012. Hoping for positive energy, many say they are looking for ways to bring about health and prosperity. This includes shopping for the oils, incense and candles that some people believe will give them a fresh start. The owners of the Botanica Santeria and a magic store in Bushwick say Latinos across the borough are flocking to their stores for products they believe will rid their homes of bad karma.
