BK residents prepare for nor'easter floods

BROOKLYN - The mayor offers tips for dealing with the flooding that may come with Sunday?s nor?easter.

Mayor Bloomberg advises residents to stock up on needed items such as batteries, flash lights and groceries. He also says it is smart to avoid driving and take advantage of public transportation during the storm, and to have an emergency kit.

The mayor also says there are going to be extra 311 operators working this weekend, and that Con Edison is also beefing up its staff to respond to any outages and service problems.
