BROOKLYN - A favorite spot for thrift-store shoppers in Williamsburg may be expanding into two floors.

Officials at the Salvation Army store on Bedford Avenue say they're looking to give the store a facelift. They say the organization is also considering moving the store to a different location.

Brooklyn shoppers say they'd like to see the store expand, but hope it stays where it is now.

Salvation Army officials say the Brooklyn location is one of their highest-grossing stores and they hope to make a decision about construction by 2011.
