BK school bus driver allegedly makes disturbing detour for bathroom break

BOERUM HILL - A Brooklyn school bus driver is suspended and parents are outraged after he allegedly pulled the bus over to urinate in a cup.Some Boerum Hill parents now want the driver dismissed. Two students at P.S. 38 came home and told their parents the driver detoured from the normal route and pulled the bus over. After making sure no one was looking, they say he then urinated in a cup.City Councilman Charles Barron (D-NY) joined the parents in voicing displeasure, saying the act was disgusting. He also says the driver should be dismissed and claims this is not the first time it has happened.Some Boerum Hill parents said they could understand the incident if there was a medical condition involved, such as diabetes. A spokesperson for the Department of Education told News 12 Brooklyn that they take the matter very seriously and the driver has been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation.
