BK subway closures to take effect this weekend

Major subway service changes will be taking effect in Brooklyn for the weekend beginning at midnight tonight. The 2 and 3 trains will be out

BROOKLYN - Major subway service changes will be taking effect in Brooklyn for the weekend beginning at midnight tonight.

The 2 and 3 trains will be out of service due to track work and platform repairs. The Q train will not run between Prospect Park and Manhattan for tunnel repairs.

The G train is also not running between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue.

The MTA says all lines will be up and running again in time for the Monday morning commute.
