BROOKLYN -

A Brooklyn high school teacher has been arrested for allegedly having a long-term affair with a student.

According to police, 33-year-old Urszula Jankowska was taken from her classroom at Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design Monday afternoon. They say she had a sexual relationship with a female student that lasted for several years and began when the student was just 13 years old.

Published reports say the student told administrators about the relationship after Jankowska complained to a school principal that the student was posting threatening notes on her Facebook page.

Jankowska is facing several charges, including one count of a criminal sex act, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
