BK teens help clean up, care for Greenpoint garden

BROOKLYN - Hundreds of teenagers came to Lentol Garden in Greenpoint to help clean up and care for the garden.

Teenagers planted trees, took care of the grass and maintained the space all summer. Many say the project was rewarding for them, and they hope to inspire others to pitch in.

The teens say they want to bring awareness to garden projects all over the borough.
