BK website owner accused of threatening hundreds

NEW YORK - (AP) - A New York eyewear website operator has beenordered held without bail as a danger to the community after he wasaccused of leaving dozens if not hundreds of people in fear fortheir lives for challenging his fees.

Vitaly Borker was described by prosecutors afterhis arrest yesterday as a cyberbully and fraudster for his dealingswith customers of his website: DecorMyEyes.com.

Prosecutor Danya Perry called him a danger to the community formaking the threats since January 2007. The 34-year-old Brooklynresident was arrested at his home. His lawyer said he had nocriminal record and there was no evidence anyone was ever hurt.
