GRAVESEND - A Brooklyn woman is facing charges after she allegedly punched a bus driver on Tuesday.

The Kings County District Attorney's Office says 25-year-old Alecia Diaz, of Coney Island, stated she punched the B82 Limited bus driver because she deliberately made her late for work.

According to court documents, Diaz punched the driver so hard she broke her glasses.

The charges include assault and harassment. Diaz is due back in court on Feb. 2.
