BROOKLYN - Mayor Michael Bloomberg said he has little sympathy for the feathered fowl around Prospect Park.

In a press conference, the mayor says the geese are a danger to airplanes and people. His administration called in federal officials to remove nearly all of the geese in Prospect Park by euthanizing them on July 8.

However, many residents were angered by the massacre. More than 100 people gathered for a vigil for the geese earlier this month.
