BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a gunman involved in shooting a bodega owner and his son during a robbery last night.

The 43-year-old owner, Miguel Cruz, was shot in the chest, while his 18-year-old son was wounded in the hand.

Police say the gunman entered the Arlene Deli Grocery on Arlington Avenue just after 10 p.m. They say he demanded money and then fired, hitting both the father and son. According to cops, he grabbed about $1,000 in cash from the register and fled the scene.

Both victims were rushed to Brookdale University Hospital and are expected to be OK.
