BOERUM HILL - Business owners in Boerum Hill say they are thrilled the city is putting the skids on a disadvantageous parking rule. Owners say they have been asking the DOT to allow parking on the south side of Atlantic Avenue between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The street has nearly 100 spaces, which have not been accessible to customers for around 20 years. People visiting the area during the day usually face unexpected fines and towing incidents, which store owners say have run their course.
