BROOKLYN - Borough President Eric Adams is planning on making Borough Hall more energy efficient.

He has convened a task force to discuss how to make the building LEED certified, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

Officials plan to use some of the capital budget to upgrade Borough Hall and hope to expand their ‘green’ plan to the rest of the borough.

Adams hopes the building will be a glowing example of how to turn old Brooklyn buildings into models for the future.
