Borough Park church van trashed by vandals

BOROUGH PARK - Police are investigating the theft of a Borough Park church van that was later trashed and left parked across the street from the church.

Police say nothing was stolen from the van, but the dashboard and ignition cylinder were ripped out and the alarm system was thrown to the ground.

The van is expected to be out of use for the next few weeks, but the church's reverend says he'll still find a way to shuttle people back and forth for services.
