BROOKLYN - A Borough Park day care has been shut down for operating without a license, according to state health officials.

The day care was run out of trailers on 49th Street and 14th Avenue, according to officials.

According to a statement on the Department of Building's website, the FDNY filed a complaint stating two trailers on the property did not have an adequate amount of exits.

The Health Department released a statement saying, "We will continue to monitor the site to ensure that it does not open again."

Day care officials say they are working with the parents of children who were enrolled at the facility in order to find them new locations for their children.
