BOROUGH PARK - Residents of Borough Park say they're disgusted by an increase in vandalism that has hit the neighborhood.

One resident says he has woken up on five different occasions to see graffiti on his van. Many in the neighborhood also say it's not just graffiti that bothers them. They say a nearby park is a haven for violent bullies.

Residents are asking for a stronger police presence. They say two arrests - of a 15-year-old and an 18-year-old - were made two weeks ago in connection with graffiti that was spray painted on a car. They hope more police will lead to more arrests.
