BROOKLYN - The borough's leaders have launched a collaborative effort to revitalize the local economy.

New Borough President Eric Adams is teaming up with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce to host quarterly breakfast meetings called the Brooklyn Economic Exchange.

The exchange involves local business owners and leaders meeting to focus on the borough's economic climate, real estate development and issues affecting small businesses.

Adams says that the initiative is about partnerships that can help everyday people grow their businesses in all neighborhoods. It’s all part of the “One Brooklyn" vision that he outlined in his inauguration speech.

The next meeting is slated for June.
